Nothing, and I mean nothing, keeps me as grounded as taking a deep breath and reflecting on all that I am grateful for. A couple of years ago, I had a journal I called The Seven Gratitudes. Every day I wrote a list of seven things that I was grateful for. It could be anything, whatever struck me at the moment as a blessing. Of course there are so many more than seven things in my life to be thankful for, but what a great way to start the day.

- The big, gorgeous moon
- Late nights
- Coffee with friends
- How To books
- Sleeping in
